History of First United Methodist Church in Archer, FL
Our congregation has deep roots in the Archer community with the founding congregation established in 1866. The present sanctuary was constructed in 1891.

Archer First United Methodist Church Worship services
We have a traditional service each Sunday at 11:15 AM. You are welcome, no matter where you are in your journey of faith.

Activities & Outreach
Bible Study Thursday Mornings at 10:00 We are currently studying the Minor Prophets
Loaves & Fishes Meals are delivered on the Fourth Friday of the month.
Panera Bread The bread and baked goods which Panera Bread (Gainesville, FL) has left at closing on Saturday evenings is distributed through the church to Seniors in our community.
Sunday School classes meet at 10:00 a.m each Sunday morning. We have classes for Adults, youth and children.
Kids to Camp This year we sent 6 young people to camp at Warren Willis camp in Fruitland Park.
Archer Elementary This school year several members will serve as tutors at Archer Elementary offering homework help to students identified by their teachers. This homework help will be provided on Wednesday afternoons from 12:45 PM-1:45 PM.
